Prom/grad dresses Part II - States version!

Alrightyy so I've basically decided that I want to get a grad dress in the states, considering prom is so huge down there, but a couple questions firstttt

1) When does prom season begin in the states? (ie when do stores start getting dresses in?)

2) Best places to look in the on-the-way-to-Seattle-from-Vancouver area? (Nordstrom for sure but anywhere else?)

okay prom season in the states is on may but people start buying them as early as a year before (yeah i know shocking right?) but im probably going to get mine around march (thats basically when the stores start putting them out). you deff. have to check out bloomingdales!

Seattle Premium Outlet..has a BCBG Maz Azria but they're not the big prom dresses per-se but if you're looking for a dress for grad pictures or whatever, it's perfect. However, do check that out to see if you like them.
