Okay, so 4 years ago I bought these Roxy boots for the winter time. I really liked them because they were those warm furry kinds, BUT they did not look like Uggs or Emus or any of those look-a-likes. I found a picture on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Roxy-Pink-Boots-Sz-6-5_W0QQitemZ190146754004QQihZ009QQcategoryZ63889QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
except mine are tan with white fur.
Now, the problem is that last year, maybe from long wear/poor quality (I hope not) or I tore the bottom somehow, my right boot has a hole somewhere (invisible to me) because when I walk in heavy rain or in snow, my right foot gets soaked. I'm debating whether or not to get it repaired (if it's fixable) or to buy new boots.
So, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on brands/stores where I can get warm winter boots like the roxy ones, so not the rubber rain boots everyone wears, or tall leather boots, or ugg or ugg-like boots (which look horrible, imo).
I know it's kinda early to be looking for winter boots, so hopefully more styles will come in the next few months. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance |

thank you!
i feel horrible, i really do, but i've been reading all these posts about Ugg boots and they're starting to sound really appealing :icon_wrong:
mostly for the warmth and comfiness, though. i still think they don't look very nice. the canadian price is ridiculous, but i might be going down to bellingham in december. i feel like such a traitor to myself. haha.
i guess i'll have to keep on boot hunting these days! |

thanks for the replies people!
i'd completely forgotten that i had posted something here....school was majorly busy but term just ended and i'm cramming for finals now!
i've decided against the ugg boots. i've been borrowing my sister's emu boots for school (we're the same size shoe even though she's 4 years younger than me!) and they've been working out fine. i'm thinking of getting a pair of bootie/ankle boots from aldo instead. after seeing every other person on campus wearing ugg/ugg-like boots i decided i didn't want to buy a pair and my sister doesn't mind me wearing hers anyways |
