okay so basically i'm obsessed with buying mascara - it's the one thing i won't leave the house without and probably the product i buy the most of.
now, i usually opt for the drugstore brands and find they work well enough (i don't find that it's worth it to spend $20+ on mascara.)
anyways, i'm just interested in what you think is the BEST mascara

Haha well I like Lancome Defincils, and Blinc Kiss Me mascara, but they're def. not drugstore brands. =P
I hear really good things about L'oreal Telescopic mascara though, I've been wanting to try it for a while... maybe I'll get some next time I'm out, and I'll tell you how it goes.

I have trouble finding good mascaras too... I've used different drugstore brands, but they always clump. The only one I've tried that didn't wasn't from the drugstore. It was Christian Dior's Maximeyes Mascara that I only got cause my family friend works there so I was sort of 'obligated' to buy stuff haha. It's pricey, but it worked!

yeahh I won't buy a mascara over $10 if I have to throw it away in 3 months.

Well my old favourite was L'Oreal Volumious but it got really heavy (wipe it down before putting it on~) so I have no ideaa.

Mascara is hard to say. You can just try all the different ones that appeal to you (well not all at once...) and you'll find your HG...

Maybelline has the largest selection.

I can tell you what wasn't worth it. xD The Exact Lash by Covergirl, did absolutely nothing!

I use Maybelline XXL mascara and Clinique High Impact Mascara, which is like $17. It's kinda steep-ish for mascara, cause I don't really typically wanna spend more than say, around 11 or 12 dollars, but in my opinion it works well, it makes my lashes look WAAAY thicker, and I have small, tiny, almost non-existent asian girl lashes (my boyfriend makes fun of them a lot.) Haha

I really like the panoramic curl , I think it works great! it really seems to just coat each lash individualy.

Yeahhhhh, since mascara is something that doesn't last too long in my makeup bag, I usually buy cheap ones. I've used lash exact by covergirl and find that it's not clumpy, it separates my lashes. Right now, I'm using Lo'real's Voluminous and I LOVE it. It's like Diorshow but a lot cheaper. It gives me really nice, thick lashes and doesn't weigh them down or anything. I think I'll continuing buying it Happy

you don't NEED to spend tons of money on mascara because you have to replace one every 3 months!

I use waterproof GoodLash from Japan. (its like Kiss Me mascara) it's my fav mascara. one bad thing about it is that it has too much fiber and they sometimes get into my eye.

I tried L'oreal's Voluminous too! It's awesome! but too bad i lost it :P when i replace my GoodLash i'm gonna buy L'oreal's Voluminous.

^ Yeah, I definitely agree with that, mascara doesn't have a long shelf life so it's better to find a cheaper one that is pretty good as opposed to shelling out tons of money for one (even if it is amazing)

Especially because as it ages, it dries out so it becomes less effective.

I have tried every mascara out there! I usually go for the more expensive ones because I can use it in 3 months anyway I wear so much lol

For the more expensive brands I like Diorshow and Benefit.

I tried Telescopic by L'Oreal and I do find it works well but I hate the brush, some how I always end up getting the mascara all over my eyelid!

I think Maybelline Great Lash is comparable to some of the more expensive brands and its pretty much the cheapest price you can get. So if you dont want to shell out the cash I would go for this one and an eyelash curler.

My cheap favourite is L'Oreal Voluminous. It's the only mascara I have bought twice, so that's saying something!

But however... I live in eastern ontario and we have no sephoras here. So when I went to Toronto I went crazy at one of their stores and got Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara and I absolutely adore it. It's amazing, my lashes are huge and soft. But it's like 25$.

I don't mind spending a lot of money on make-up because of the animal testing issue, the quality/packaging, fair trade... I've come to know that it's almost always worth it to buy the higher end brands. A good place to get make-up that has all of the above for a fair price is the Body Shop. =)

I love the brand Quo and their mascara is really really good and it's under $5 at Shopper's Drug Mart! I have the lengthening one and there's also a volumizing one.

Well I really like clinique high impact mascara because it makes ur lashes thick and long without being clumpy. It is kinda expensive though so sometimes I just get some from shoppers and I usually go for that purple one that queen latifah advertises. That one is really good for seperating lashes.

I think it was on sale though. I'm not sure what the actual price was but I paid under $5.

ive found one i'm in love with.
but i cant think of the name right now, all i know is that its in a black and pink tube
it's rimmel i think...
and lately i've been buying all those new "plastic-y" brushes, and i found they work waaay better than the bristle brushes. i find there's way less clumping.

I Love Prestige Lash Matrix mascara, it adds alot of length and it really thickens your lashes...Sometimes for a really bold affect I add some Maybelline Great lash mascara over top the prestige mascara, so I basically have 2 favorites lol

My favourite drugstore mascara is CoverGirl Volume Exact. It doesn't do exactly what it promises, but I still really like it.

Rimmel Eye Magnifier. It's awesomeeee. And it's only $6.

I have really short lashes and this stuff really makes my eyes pop. It does everything: curl, lengthen, thicken, volumize. I lovee it.

L'Oreal Volume Extreme is really awesome too ($12).

I'd recommend it for the reason _TNA_ said (it seriously never clumps), and it's easy to remove without taking out any eyelashes. It lengthens nicely too. The only thing I don't recommend it for is for if you want serious volume, and if you be broke haha.
