i've always done my eyebrows at home, but now I think I want them professionally done.
any places in and around Square One mall where I can get my brows done?
and do you use any type of lotions or oils that would slow hair regrowth?
thx! _________________

Donato salon and spa does eyebrows.. they're in Square One.
Trade Secrets does as well I believe. |

| Also, once you get them done they are very easy to maintain... You just pluck the stray hairs every so often. No need for "slow hair growth" formulas imo, because they'd look really bad when the hair is first growing out... |

Try going to spas..most of them will do your eyebrows for you, even if it's a bit expensive. A lot of people will do your eyebrows in their basements too, for a cheaper price. I know you're pretty far from Vaughan Mills, but inside there is a salon, and they do eyebrows & upper lip for $15, I believe.
Sorry if I'm taking over your topic! lol but...
Does anyone know where you can get your eyebrows done in the Markham area? Other than the spas at malls... |

| My hair salon does them, so maybe you could go to your local hair salon. Also, try just a spa nearby, oh and here's a hint, try to pick someone with eyebrows that you like because chances are they will do yours somewhat like theirs. |

Update: I found this place near of all places, T & T (you know the massive popular Chinese supermarket), but I haven't tried it out yet.
Do I have to wait until the unwanted eyebrow hair grows to a certain length, or can they yank out even the ones that are really really short? How often do you have to go to these salons?
thx so far! _________________

| Ya, I dont think it makes a difference what length they are, its not like bikini or leg waxes. |

You can always try threading your eyebrows..I have always wanted to get that done but I haven't gotten around to it.
Has anyone done it before?? |

| I've done threading before, and IMO, it's waaay better than waxing. Much more precise and it doesn't hurt as much - at least for me - because it's a different kind of pain than waxing, I find with waxing it really irritates my skin and makes it bumpy for a while after... However, I can't really find a good place in Vancouver to do my eyebrows by threading (my friend does them for me, she's amazing!) So I normally do waxing at Eccotique. |

I get mine threaded from this lady who does it in her basement.. it's SOOOOOOOOOOO cheap lol.. only $3! I'm not joking!
Threading to me doesn't hurt at all, and its more precise and gives a more natural look to your eyebrows, instead of that "harsh fake super thin" un natural look that plucking gives.
Just ask around and you'll find a place
