Aritizia Sale...

Even though the sale is still a month away, I was wondering if the stores will ship some of their newest stuff there. Like I really want the Yellow Zip-up, but their new stuff is coming out... so I'm not sure if the sweater will be in stock any longer.

well from what I remmber last year, I think it was the 31st - 7th at Tinsletown in Vancouver.

this year it's August 29th to September 4th if i'm not mistaken and i don't remember seeing anything yellow there lol so i don't think they have yellow zip ups ....not entirely sure tho....

yeah they did, but at the very end of summer they always have warehouse sale to clear out everything they didn't sell in the store. some of the stuff can be cheap, but watch out for defective or damaged stuff.

hmmm as far as i know, yes it's only in vancouver. it's near chinatown, at the tinseltown complex. i usually see some flyers up for the sale on telephone poles regarding information, but none yet.

yeah, I haven't seen any signs up yet,
well of course it's just way too early at the moment bahaha.
but the yellow sweater I'm wondering will be at the aritzia sale
is in stock at stores right now. I mean, if I know I can get it cheaper,
i might as well but then if it's going into fall.. I'm not sure if I want a bright yellow sweater. I mean I usually see bold colours in the winter...

I think I saw some posters that said the warehouse sale starts on the 30th of August this year...as for opening times and such, I didn't really pay attention.

0 am to.. sometime in the evening
i went on the first day last year and found it pretty pathetic
that the first people in line, came at 2 Surprised

0 am to wait six hours
I mean, yes you do get your hands on the stuff first
but they bring out stuff throughout the day and new stuff every day pretty much

They won't have any of the newest stuff-just summer stock and winter stock leftover from last year. Damn I really want one of the wilfred coats but I know if they DO get a few they'll be gone instantly Sad

Yeah the sale wasn't that good last year-I got there at 8AM and by the time I got in all the smaller sizes were already gone....but I'll probably stop by anyways because I don't have anything better to do and I can never pass up the possibility of a good deal! So hopefully I'll see some of you there too!

^The medium length wool ones everyone had last year. I doubt they would even have any at the sale, but I remember last summer they had a few of the TNA parkas left.

Yeah, last year wasn't that great. I didn't find much that I liked, or was worth it...but I'll definitely be making an appearance this year as well, can't pass up a good bargain either (if there are any, which I hope there are..!)

i just received an email from ARITZIA, and the sale is on 578 Abbott St, the corner of abbott and keefer, still close to W pender, like a block away

^When I went there were mostly just big sizes left (like Large/XL) which was really frustrating. I'll be heading down there around 11 (gotta have breakfast with another friend of mine so I won't be there for the opening). Hope to see some of you girls there!

i just went. it sucked. no small sizes for jeans and no sweaters, well there were green colored ones but they were all size M or L. they also this sweater in 3 different colors, there were tons of racks of them but they were kinda ugly. in my opinion, this sale is NOT worth going to. it's all junk.

^Agreed! The sale sucked. All the denim was down to $100 (SFAM, R&R, tons of J Brand) but most was big sizes 29+ (which was great for me IF I needed jeans). Tons of the fur hood coats too down to $150 but most weren't good colors (green, beige). The prices were good-I was looking at some Wilfred wool pants for $20 but they were SO itchy I didn't buy them. No small sizes left, nothing really worthwhile. I went last year and was disappointed and same this year-so I don't think I'm going to bother going back.

Oh boy, that's not good. It always seems as if the warehouse sale never ceases to disappoint.

For the jeans, what styles were the J Brand, SFAM and R&R? I'm just curious to know as to how old the styles are...and if they had the Black J Brand Straight Legs...I wanna get a pair of those if SOMEHOW I can find size 26/27.

working there this year, jeans, if your a size 28 and up, thats your call right there, we have .. wonderfully coloured .. beaters. they're the neutral .. coloured ones .. i wouldnt go for them, hoodies, they're all the same almost. supplex is like .. the basic red and green and some of the black with the different coloured piping. a lot of winter coats, mostly 149.99 a lot of striped tanks for 9.99 .. apart from that you'll have to dig really hard to find some good stuff, gluck to everyone !

@miscellaneous -- Since you're working @ the sale this year, I was just wondering and perhaps you could answer my question - were there any smaller sizes for jeans that were available at first but all bought by the first batch, or were there no small sizes to start with? And since they say "new merchandise everyday" - is there really that much of a difference? ie: new jackets?

theres very few small sizes, when we open theres quite a few, but they sell out pretty quick 23-26 are our smallest i guess, new merch is like .. basically the same stuff just more each day. its all the reject clothing we couldnt sell in the stores .. thats sorta it xD

So would you suggest getting there @ opening time to try and get any of the stuff in the small sizes? Also, how bad are the waiting lines to get in? I remember last year I only had to wait 5 minutes to get in.
