I find it so much easier to tan after using a self-tanner so has anyone used any good ones? I have this one from vaseline but it's a gradual one and it's supposed to take one week but each time you shower quite a bit washes off so it's going to take more like a month haha... I'm looking for particularly rub-on ones, preferably no sprays! And I have fair skin, so I guess I'm looking for light-medium tanning products. Thanks |

I noticed that a lot of different brands are coming out with their self-less tanners/mosturizers with a bit of self-less tanners in them. There's Dove, Nivea, Vaseline, Olay..
I am currently using the Olay's Touch of Sun one. It works really well. After using it over a weekend (twice a day), I had phys ed, and my friend mentioned to me how tanned I look. It works pretty well. Doesn't smell bad..it has a funky (not funky in a bad way) scent. I got used to it. I love this one. I recommend it! _________________

I've been looking around and I've narrowed it down to three:
- Lancome Flash Bronzer SPF15 Spray (~$29)
- Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel (~$30)
- Philosophy: The Big Skinny (~$25)
I've heard pretty good things about all three. I'm pretty sure you can get them at Sephora, but I've been searching for the Philosophy tanner there (Eaton Centre and Scarborough Town locations), and haven't been able to find it yet. |

| I love Aveeno Continuous Radiance. I have it in medium, and even though it is a gradual self-tanner, I see a difference after just one application. I like it for not smelling as bad as all other self-tanners do, and also it's a very good moisturizer. |

| I actually just started using Neostrata Sunsation Insta-Tan 2 in 1 Sunless tanner and bronzer in Natural-Medium ($24.50 at Shoppers) and so far, I'm loving it. The colour shows up within minutes, and looks really nice. =) |

which do you think is better? the lotions (like jergans) with a little self tanner in them or full on self tanners (like a foam, like neutrogena)? i never quite understood how they work. do they fade after one shower? or does it stain your skin for a while? please i'd like some help, i'm really not into the tanning beds but with everyone around me being so tanned i want some colour! _________________

The loreal one that has SPF from both UVA and UVB rays and it's more of a cream bronzer than a spray on tan is really nice. _________________

whatever you do, only apply the gradual ones once a day and dont use a really dark one if u r pale. one of my friends always uses them and she does it like a bunch of times in a day and always chooses a really dark one even though she is pale and it is always orange. People tell her that her tan looks fake and she is really streaky and orange but she doesnt believe us. sigh, she thinks we are jealous of her, ya suuure _________________
