Okay. Ignore what I said earlier about me not looking good in skinnies. Apparently I look okay in them. |

what i dont sorta like about them is that you can only wear certain shoes with them >.<
and out of all the possible shoes you can wear with them, i only wear flats or flip flops...which can only be worn on certain seasons...so i'm kinds iffy on investing in a pair of skinnies =( _________________ GO LEAFS GO '07-'08

^i disagree, lots of people can totally pull them off. unfortunately, i'm not exactly sure if i'm one of those people...
but i love them with long sweaters/shirts and pointed heels. _________________

| I have hips and a butt and I think I look fine in skinnies!! I'm tall though, 5ft10-but I'm usually a size 29 or 30 (usually 30) and I'm pretty bottom heavy-my hips/butt/thighs are bigger than the rest of me. You just gotta look for the right ones-and it takes a lot of looking. Plus I think they look better after they stretch out a little (a LITTLE-nothings worse than baggy skinnies) because they're not quite as skin tight. I had ones from Off the Wall before that I really liked but I found that they stretched out too much the more I wore them-I bought a couple of pairs of cheapies from Uniqlo here in Japan and I really like them. But I think as long as you buy them really tight the Off the Wall ones are pretty good-they're not TOO skinny or too low either. Plus go for really dark blue or black ones-they're the most flattering. |

| I don't know if I like them. On some people, yeah, on some, no. Personally I wouldn't wear them. And I agree with ^, some people wear them way too tight... |

I've been wondering, are skinnies going out of style? My sister informed me on that today, but I'm pretty sure she was just being annoying.
NO MORE SKINNIES?
I guess I'll keep wearing mine though, just to be different. _________________

I like straight leg jeans over skinny jeans, because they fit me better/ look better on me imo. I have really short legs, so when I wear skinnies they make me look even SHORTER. However, contrary to the fact that short people can't wear them...my friend who's the same height as me (around 5"1) looks good in skinnies because she has long legs in comparison to her torso.
I read on a blog though, and it said how "skinny jeans with flats" are supposedly one of the worst trends of 2007. I disagree, I think skinnies with flats look really cute! |

I seriously don't remember the last time i wore normal boot cut jeans or whatever.
I find that skinnies look great on me. |

^^Oh please. Worst trend of 2007?? I LOVE skinnies with flats! They look so much better than with my bootcut jeans.
Actually, now when I wear my bootcuts I look down and thing "OMG they're HUGE on the bottom!". Now I can only wear one pair-my Evisu's-because they're only a really slight bootcut.
I don't think they'll be going out anytime soon-in Europe they've been in for years. And in Japan it's basically all people wear. |

| I'm a hypocrite. I like them now. Well, I only really wear them tucked in boots. =P I thought they'd make me look huge, but surprisingly they don't and I actually look kind of thin in them =S. Hmmm. |

^ I think I'm a hypocrite too.
I don't know what I've said about them on here, but before I thought they were really ugly and strange and now I think they're maybe ok.
But I think the closest I'll ever get to wearing them would be straight leg jeans. On account of my hips and butt.
I dunno. _________________

| I love skinny jeans on everyone else but me. See, I am of limited vertical stature and my legs are too muscley to pull it off. My calves are so big, I even have a hard time finding skinny flares that don't look ridiculous...I once tried on a pair and I couldn't even get them all the way up because they wouldn't go past my calves (and I had taken a pair a size too big by accident...) So all in all, just like everything else that's fashionable, love it on her, never on me. |

I'm pretty sure skinny jeans are still in style.
For myself, I like skinny jeans...because they are easier for me to tuck into my boots.
Hahaha. My favourite cut for jeans is just plain straight leg, but yes, I am down with skinny jeans too and I think for the most part everyone looks okay in them as long as they don't wear them too tight, although people with long and lean legs probably look best. |

I love skinny jeans!
They are very versatile. You can play them up with a fancy top + heels, or wear them casual with a t-shirt and sneakers. Skinnies look AMAZING with pumps, I must add. Skinnies make your legs look longer, so it's good for the short people I'm already tall and they make my legs look nice and lean, which I like.
I have 4 pairs of skinnies:
3 from Off The Wall (Shank brand, very comfy. One black, two dark blue), and the other from Urban Behaviour - but that one's not very comfy. |
