So does anyone else use Pro Activ? I've only been using it for like a week, and my acne is started to subside, which I'm thrilled about! I was really scared that it wouldn't work and would dry out my skin but I love it...
Also, where do you buy it? I bought the 3 step system for $78 at Square One... Can you get it cheaper? |

everyonce in a while you can get a really good deal on the shopping channel (theshoppingchannel.com)
that's where i got mine from, but i wasn't really a huge fan so i haven't bought any more. but i guess it's different for everybody _________________

| To anyone else that has tried ProActiv - did/does it work for you? I really want to get rid of my acne, which isn't that bad, but still noticeable. |

it's not that it didn't work for me, i just didn't find it *spectacular*, so i didn't want to spend all that money on it. i tried aveeno and fell in love with that instead.
i think it just depends on the skin type really. i still love the proactive facial mask, i still have some left and use it on spots, when pimples form. i find that works well for me
i mean, i know people who swear by it, and people who hated it. but honestly, i think you should just try it (you can buy little travel sized samples) to see if it works for you
good luck! _________________

I know a few friends that used it (they had moderate acne) and it cleared up their skin really well in a short amount of time, but after they used it for about a month it stopped working and it got worse again and didn't go away after. I think someone I know also asked a dermatologist or make-up lady or something about it and they said it will make your skin look bad when your a bit older (but I could be wrong) _________________ *parting is such sweet sorrow*

a lot of my friends use it and they had acne and now their faces are clear!! id probably recommend it, one of them gave me a refining mask and i found it worked well. i think it has different effects for different people though, the only real way to find out if it worked would be for you to try it ideally..i know its pricey though.
actually you know what? you should try calling their customer service number cause i could have sworn they give like sample or free trial sets _________________ formerly known as rubbersoul |

| It works alright but when you stop using it, everything goes back to normal. The key is to drink lots of water ( I drink about 6-8 glasses a day and my skin is practically clear) |

| I saw a show where they compared Proactiv to other products. The ingredients are not any different then drug store brands for acne. I think its really about routine. If you pick any product thats right for your skin and stick to it, your skin will clear up. |

| i use it and i think it works..... if you go to the shopping channel outlet on orfus road in toronto they will often have the full set for $20.00.... because they package it with something like a set of pillow cases or sheets.... the proactive they are selling are the ones people returned but didnt open at all soo the plastic is still on them its AMAZING price wise |

proactiv worked for me once 3 years ago and it completely dried out my skin to the point where it would flake off
then it stopped working after that...it was doing nothing for me
the best face wash for me is noxema acne care and persa gel 5 for spot treatments, completely clears everything and doesnt ruin my skin and evens out my complexion
you can find the same ingredients in proactiv (benzoyl peroxide and sailyclic acid) and in drugstore products as well...just depends on your skin type, proactiv would probably be good if you had very oily skin...the refining mask has great reviews but it only works sometimes for me, i cant tell if its the persa gel or the mask that works because i use both _________________

A lot of my friends used it and some say that it works, and some don't. Obviously it really depends on your own type of skin and it varies from person to person, do they have like trial sizes and things to test it out? It'd be such a bummer if you bought it and it didn't work, that'd be a huuge waste of money |

| It didn't work for me. I think it started to get a bit better but then it went back to normal. This was a couple of years ago. And it also dried my skin. (I have terribly sensitive skin and combination skin) |

a bunch of my friends use it and it all works really well on them. the only setback is the price though. i think its effectiveness really depends on the person. _________________ formerly known as rubbersoul |
