*spoilers? no, not really*

Well, they both have the same basic plot (fashion victim working for boss from hell) but alot of Andie's personal life is different....her relationship with her friends, and their characteristics (Lily is an acoholic, Alex (or Nate, in the movie) is a school teacher, the other one doesn't exist.) Emily is a bit different and Nigel barely makes a cameo. The book is still entertaining, just don't read it expecting the movie....I actually prefered the movie because the book was more a series of ridiculous tasks Andie was forced to do as opposed to having a real plot.

My reading list is a bit long. But I know I can work through at least half of it by the end of the summer.
I also like to own the books before I read them... so the possibility of me reading these books is largely dependant on if I can buy them first. I already own the first 8.

Since there is no strikethrough BBtag, I'm using the DarkRed colour to mark which ones I've read already.

Light Reading
Rowling, JK - HP: The Deathly Hallows (July 21 - 22)
Juby, Susan - Alice, I Think (July 23 - 25)

Gladwell, Malcolm - Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking
Gladwell, Malcolm - The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make A Big Difference
Orwell, George - 1984
Maillard, Keith - Running
Krug, Steve - Don't Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability
Schwarz, Friedhelm - Nestle: The Secrets of Food, Trust and Globalization
Coupland, Douglas - jPod
Kinsella, Sophie - Confessions of a Shopaholic
Morton, Camilla - How To Walk In High Heels
Levitt, Steven - Freakonomics
Canton, James - The Extreme Future
Barry, Max - Company
Barry, Max - Jennifer Government
Jervis, Lisa - BITCHfest
Beckerman, Marty - Generation S.L.U.T.
Rankin, Robert - The Toyminator
Daniel, Gilbert - Stumbling on Happiness

Heavier Reading
Newman, Chris - Teach Yourself PHP in 10 minute (lessons)
Rushdie, Salman - Satanic Verses

There are only two books that I'm planning to read for the remaining of the summer.

Kafka On The Shore - Haruki Murakami
Queen of Babble in the Big City - Meg Cabot

I must not go online every so often if I plan to read it all, since I will also be busy with other things that have more value.
