Well, they both have the same basic plot (fashion victim working for boss from hell) but alot of Andie's personal life is different....her relationship with her friends, and their characteristics (Lily is an acoholic, Alex (or Nate, in the movie) is a school teacher, the other one doesn't exist.) Emily is a bit different and Nigel barely makes a cameo. The book is still entertaining, just don't read it expecting the movie....I actually prefered the movie because the book was more a series of ridiculous tasks Andie was forced to do as opposed to having a real plot.

My reading list is a bit long. But I know I can work through at least half of it by the end of the summer.
I also like to own the books before I read them... so the possibility of me reading these books is largely dependant on if I can buy them first. I already own the first 8.
Since there is no strikethrough BBtag, I'm using the DarkRed colour to mark which ones I've read already.
