I agree with everyone else, just a tank or tee, polka dotted or just a regular color. The colors shouldn't be so so bright, but still cute enough to look good.

Since these dresses are made of silk, they're pretty dressy. If you want to make it more wearable for everyday, pair it with flats. You could wear it to a multicultural event (like the Chinese Lantern festival), or a Broadway show (Like Mama Mia or something), or basically any semi-formal event. If you're wearing it to a semi-formal event, then you can pair it with heels, otherwise, the only place I can think of where you could wear it with flats casually is if you're going to an Asia mall (like Pacific mall) lol, otherwise you'd look out-of-place.

^I personally wouldn't wear a billowy blouse underneath because first of all yes, it would probably be a bit too formal for school, and second of all, it will look like total trend overkill. I'd suggest a black or white tank, tee, or long-sleeve tee. You could also wear a vintage rock tee underneath.

^No problem. Trend overkill is basically when you wear way too many trendy items at once, and you end up looking tacky.

^ with that vest, i would probably wear...a plain white t-shirt (like the ones that they have at american fitted, kinda fitted but loose and almost oversized), with a few long chains, and skinny jeans and flats Happy it's a really cute piece so i would say probably stick with accentuating it with simple pieces as opposed to like, over-doing it and killing the look of the vest. i actually really like it, where did you find it?

well it's on the urban outfitters webby, but I went to look for it yesterday and I didn't see anything. There were a few vests, but they were kinda blah. xD I'm looking for a black one.

I've had leggings for over a year like everyone else, but I only wore them in winter with my Uggs..
Are there any other types of shoes I can wear with my leggings OTHER than flats?
Because I can't think of any haha and uh yeah I want to wear leggings now since I'm sick of all my pants.

^You can wear them with almost any type of shoe..wedges, pumps, peep-toes, cowboy boots, riding boots, other boots... It just depends on the rest of your outfit.

^I agree with everything Lil_pink_bunnie said. You can wear leggings with basically every type of shoe. I usually wear my leggings under dresses and mini skirts with wedges or flats.

So I have this dress for Dress your Best day at school.

and I'm wondering what type of tights (if any), shoes, or coverup to wear with it, to make it more dressy. Thanks in advance! Very Happy

^Honestly, if you're going for a dressy look, then don't wear any tights. But if you must, then I think opaque black would be the most sophisticated. As for shoes, pumps or peep-toe pumps are always nice. But for school, I'd probably keep it simple with flats. I think gold flats, silver flats, or black would look nice. And for a cover-up, layer on a cardigan, and don't button it up. I think a black cardigan, with black opaque tights, with gold or silver flats/pumps would look the best and most 'dressy' with that dress. And another thing, you could layer some long gold or silver (whichever one matches the shoes) necklaces to add more dimension. Hope this helps.

I would say definitely wear opaque black tights and pumps (silver/black) , with silver jewelry. A large tote would make a good one day bag, a lot nicer than some chunky backpack or one of those gym bags from lulu/TNA/Puma. If it's not too cold, don't wear a coverup, it'll look better without.

^I would say skinny jeans, because the top is already sort of flared, so it might look a little weird having flare jeans too.
