How old do you have to be to work at the Gap? And since Old Navy is owned by the same company, is it the same for there too?

I don't like dig graves or anything. I do aesthetic stuff - my duties include watering sod, watering flowers, digging tree wells, mulching trees, weed wacking (a lot of that), pruning hedges.. etc. The cemetery is huge so always lots of work to do. Although since I work through the city it is a very slack job.
Its awesome because I work outside though... a good job actually.

^ Sounds pretty good, I never got a hang of that whole babysitting thing.

I work at Jacob, $9/hr with a 50% discount. Not too bad.

I work at Petsmart, and I've worked there for over 2 years. I'm moving out on September 2nd, so my last day is August 25th. YAYYYYY NO MORE IRRITATING CUSTOMERS!!!!

On the downside, after 2 years, I get pretty good pay .. and just ARGH I'm leaving only a few months after my raise. But who freaking cares, I'M OUT OF THERE!!!

work at Tim Horton's downtown. My god. What a terrible place to work in. When school starts, I am so out of there. I can't take it. The manager is incapable of saying anything but "faster faster". I reek of coffee and I have this ever constant fear of getting second degree burns, in which I saw someone get today. It's so tiring. And just my store, the owner is cheap so every year it's a 10 cent increase. WOW. And really, no offence, but it's so lonesome working there. There's barely anyone who knows english outside of the coffee lingo. So please, unless you know the manager to be a generous and nice person, don't apply, the work is really not worth the pay.

That's the end of my rant. Very Happy

Caboto club. I'm a server. 7.50/h, but there's $10-$20 in tips each night too. Eh, it's okay... We get free food there. Happy

I've been working at Chocies (a gourmet organic food grocer) for almost a year now as a cashier...it's pretty easy work, and I love the people I work with, so I'm pretty content with my job. Except I haven't gotten a raise yet. Which kinda sucks, but I'm ok with it..for the most part, cause we start at $10/hour.

I just got hired at American Eagle in Metro!!! :icon_yahoo: :icon_yahoo: I start next tuesday Happy

Edit: Make that next Thursday. I have to do an induction first, and the only times to do that is during the day... and I only get off of school early enough on Thursdays to get to it.

I just applied at Shopper's drug mart and Tim Hortons!
I really hope I get the one at Shopper's at the make up counter!
I'm also applying to Chapters, Laura Secord and Starbucks, but I'm counting on Shopper's Drug Mart for now.
