i'm not too sure where the fabric came from, it was a scrap from a skating dress my mom made for my friend. i think she got it in hamilton somwhere?

see I was trying to make my own bathingsuit one day, but it just fell apart... what fabric did you use and did you use a machine?

i used a lycra (usual bathing suit material)
and i did use a machine, however, if you are doing this, figure out the tension on the fabric beforehand or you can end up with a mess. some machines handle very stretchy fabrics differently. also, make sure you use a zig-zag stich, so it stretches along with the fabric.

Looks good. My mom says it's a nightmare to make bathing suits because of the material... though I really want to try because it'll probably do me better than to buy a really expensive one -- and, usually, nothing really fits me. ><
