So yeah... my sister FINALLY got a DDR game AND mat for PS2. It's fun to play, and there's also a workout mode in the game.

My sister would joke around and say that I should play it everyday if I want to lose some weight... and my mom agrees that it's a good way to get some exercise.

What are some of your views/stories or whatever's of DDR?

I think it's a great way to exercise. It's a form of cardio which is always good. My friend has DDR and we used to play it all the time. It definatly got tiring and showed signs of a workout. Plus, it's actually fun and makes you want to do it more often.

i have ddr ultramix 3 hah. i love it, to be honest. it's a lot of fun and i definitely am tired after awhile of playing it. however, just be careful about what the mat is on. if you are dancing on cement (ex. unfinished basement...) you really have to be careful because you can really hurt your ankles. try to put it on carpet if you can, i have bad experiences :P

It is a really good cardio workout (especially once you get a bit better at it and start doing much faster songs). There's a website actually showing people who lost a lot of weight using that as their main form of exercise (plus a balanced diet! They didn't pig out and then go do a couple of songs lol).
I think it's a really fun way to get people exercising-plus you can do it in the comfort/security of your own home whenever you have the time.

Haha, I used to be a huge DDR FREAKKK. =D (yes st3ph! XD)

I don't play it as much anymore since I moved into my aunt's house cuz there's tight space so I can't move around freely... also I haven't been motivated enough YET but I will be soon, I just need to get back into the habit of it (and more space). I still want to get all the older versions of the game so I don't play the same songs over and over.
It actually was a good way for me to keep at a healthy weight when I used to work at Harvey's, actually I lost some tummy pooch and was able to fit into most of my clothes lol. When I stopped, I gained the weight back + more, but my crazy Japanese mag inspired me to try again.

It doesn't even feel like exercise most of the time.

I play/stop, I don't play regularly, just whenever the mood strikes really. But I used to play it for 3 hours every single day when I first bought it back in fall 2006.
