I LOVEEEE the new season. What do you think?
I think it's way better than S1/S2/S3. I was laughing out loud last episode (highlight to read....don't know if it would be considered a spoiler) when Ryan was fantasizing about Taylor & when Sandy and Kirsten auditioned for substitute Seth. I also liked that there was a party - loong time since there has been a party on the show.

Can't wait for next week's Chrismukkah episode!

And spoiler:
What are your thoughts on the flashback episode that will be airing next year? For those who don't know, we'll get to see Sandy, Kirsten, Jullie and Jimmy at 21 I think, and Ryan, Summer, Taylor and Seth at 10. I read a side where Summer's "mermaid" poem turned out to be Taylor's poem that Summer ended up reading - hope that isn't true, that would ruin things for me!

And another:
Also, I heard that Ryan's dad may make an apperance...which would be really great.

OHH Ryan's dad?! That would be really interesting. Well honestly, I think this season sucks. Seasno 1 was definitely the best. I didn't like the Chrismakkuh epi with the alternate universe thing. It didn't fit with the whole OC feel and it sorta got confusing.

And I know lots of people dont like Marissa, but I was disappointed that they didnt show her! I so thought she would appear in last thurs episode..but it turned out to be kaitlin. It still seems werid withough Marissa..ahh i miss her.

And I heard that seth is gunna propose to summer in the next epi? anyone know if that's true?

I tried watching the beginning of this season, and to tell you the truth I completely lost interest. I caught a bit of it last night, enough to see that Seth and Summer are engaged and Ryans father actually did show up. But I do think the other seasons were muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better.

I loovvee the OC, but the cancellation thing, I'm kind of glad that it's over? The first 2 seasons were my favourite, they were good, but the 3rd season was crazy, everything became really serious, making the show go downhill..people lost interest around there I think, and now it's making a really slow comeback, but I like this season (4). They say that they're going to end it 'the way they've always wanted to', so maybe it'll be good, surprising? Who knows I'm excited Happy

i really, really, really loved the oc when it first came out, but then i started to seem like they were dragging things out...and then i stopped watching. i'm not surprised to see that it's been cancelled, i mean people have definitely slowly been starting to stop watching it, though it is kinda sad...

and i have such an attachment to seth cohen. i love that character!!!

loovein chris brown (forget his character's name) and kaitlin together..they're cute. and i just love chris brown himself haha.

too bad the engagement for seth and summer is over. but i hope they get married someday..they're so adorable together! but honestly i didn't think they were ready for marraige. summers married friends were so ditzy..ugh.

and ryan and taylor.. *sigh* i wish things would just work out for them. why does taylor's ex have to come and ruin everything!?

I thought another network was going to pick up The O.C..... I hope so. This season, while I haven't been very loyal (the time bounces around every single week it seems! sometimes it conflicts with Grey's), it's been my favourite. I wish Kaitlin would stop screwing herself over with Will!

OMG what has happened to the oc? The season started off ok but the last few episodes were so bad! I mean, Chris Brown cant act, but he also cant get his words out! This is supposed to be about rich upper class folk, and he talks like he's from the ghetto. All of Kaitlins problems are like degrassi episodes. And that "weed aint cool" shit was so lame! Plus we're supposed to accept Chris Brown as being a band geek?
And the problems are so sitcom-y! Taylors husband writing a book then a few months later its an american bestseller and he happens to be in town with a talk show while summer starts hallucinating che everywhere? What the heck is that? And a whole bunch of rich, well-to-do girls that in the real world would be getting early acceptance to ivy leagues thanks to daddy's money are now getting married right after high school and calling themselves the Newspie Weds?

This show totally jumped the shark

^Yeah, I'm wondering that too. But I'm pretty sure Kirsten DID go to Berkely.

This Thursday's episode was pretty good. I loved the flashbacks..it really gave a more in-depth brief description of where the characters came from..I really enjoyed it. And I'm glad Julie chose to be with Frank. I think they're so cute together and you can tell they really really like eachother.

I think next week there's an earth quake or something? It looks good..can't believe there's only 3 epis left. I swear I'm gunna cry during the last one Crying or Very sad

it's over now. The finale, honestly, disappointed me a bit. I found that they tried really hard to make it dramatic. I'm glad everything worked out in the end, in a way, though. I'm going to miss thursday nights with the OC:cry:.

I'm quite sad it's over as well. I loved the part when Taylor said something like "Why do these teen soap shows drag on forever?"

I admit that I cried during most of it. It's hard to say goodbye to my Thursday night love.
