I was excited like six months ago. But now all my poser friends are so into it. It bugs me when people "love" things, yet don't know every possible thing there is to know about it. (well, not everything, but if your passionate about something, tell me about it, it won't be any fun if you don't know much.)

Oh, I want to see that, Ill probably wait for a bit though, I hate going to movies when they first come out, its too busy, lol. Anyways, did you know that they spend half a billion dollars on that movie!??!? Ya, 500 million was spent on a movie. They could have fed a third world country with that!!!

The weird thing is is that Peter was all mad at the sandman for killing his dad
(when it was an accedent just like him killing Dr. Osborn)
and then he was wondering why Harry was mad at him for Killing his dad.

They didn't even adress that.
There was too much stuff going on and they tried to skip some scenes.
Like when do we realize that MJ really does want to be with Peter?
During the time the telephone rings and she answers after he already hung up...
it wasn't as long of a moment as it should have been.

And he was the black spiderman for not very long.
They did that whole thing wrong.
In the commercial, he saw himself in the mirror as the red one when he was really the black one,
that wasn't in the movie.

And then he wasn't even the black spiderman for long enough for that to be considered the man event.
And that really wasn't why MJ was mad at him to begin with.

And that whole emo thing was just obnoixous
especially when he danced around town and thought he was the greatest thing.
They should have made it more of a
"sitting alone in his appartment while there is an overly dramatic thunderstorm going on."

They should have made it where everything was going great for Peter and MJ until he became the black spiderman.

If they did it that way,
they could have made it where he was reluctant with his new black costum thing (cue thunderstorm)
until he finally decides to try it on.

They also should have made a bigger detail on his school.
A) he should have started to do poorly.
b) the professor thing should have called and said his whole
"You didn't save any did you?" bit
when Peter was still hesitant about his new costume (see in above paragraphs)
THEN he should have tested it out and be like,
"wow, this feels good." or whatever that famous line was.

There was just too many things wrong with it,
I can't even name all of them.
Purhaps it would be easier if I were talking insted of typing.
I want my seven dollars and two and a half hours back

James Franco was so cute in this movie! I LOVED his adorable smile when he and MJ were at his house cooking.

This was a good entertaining movie IMO. The effects were awesome and everything.

^^Ohh definitely agree.

The problem with this movie was it was just a typical superhero movie. Great effects and fight sequences and fun to watch in theatres, but bad writing, mediocre acting, and so many plot holes. My hopes were so high for this because I loved the first two (especially the second) and this one let me down.

I didn't really mind emo peter, it was just supposed to be a geeks perspective of what a bad guy would look like. But there were some other problems...

Major beefs: *spoilers, duh*
-The butler. First off, bad acting. Secondly, why was he cleaning Normans wounds if he was already dead? Thirdly, how the hell was he able to tell that the glider caused Goblins death and that spiderman had nothing to do with it? He should become a forensics scientist. Fourthly, why did he wait so damn long to let Harry in on this fact? Was he waiting for him to off spiderman or something?

-The bridge scene. Again, horrible acting. Secondly, why would MJ go through with breaking up with Peter? Because the Goblin told her too? Like spiderman couldnt kick his ass. And Harry wasnt even listening to them, MJ could've easily said "harry's making me do this, can you blast a web and take us somewhere safe?"

-Changing uncle ben's killer. Totally ruins peters whole motivation for why he became spiderman in the first place. And WHY would the police tell Aunt May and Peter 5 years after the shooting the identity of the killer AFTER HE ESCAPES FROM JAIL?

-ok, so I get that Peter can forgive sandman for shooting his uncle, but what about robbing all those banks? Killing all the other people after becoming sandman? He just let him go?

-Not enough venom in the movie. They never explained how peter knew the sound would kill him, and they never used the famous line "we are venom." And they shouldn't have killed him off. Venom is badass.

-Peter's piano playing. How the hell did he know how to play the piano? And wasn't anyone else wondering "hey, were did that guy come from....and where did our regular pianist go?"

-While watching his daughter about to fall from a building, the police chief (and the boyfriend) hold a calm conversation. Also, after saving Gwen Stacey, spiderman ignores the falling crane and the collapsing building.

-the scene with the little girl and the camera. Please, annoying little kids who cannot act DO NOT MAKE COMIC RELIEF.

-all the spectators watching the final fight instead of running for their lives

-spiderman running past the american flag - super cheesy.

Sorry, i REALLY had to get that off my chest. Like I said, it wasn't a bad movie as far as summer action movies go, but my hopes were so high after the second spiderman movie and this one was just disapointing.

^agreed.

PLUS! they didn't even have the random musician on the street singing the spiderman theme song. It would have been good, so then we could settle down for a moment and take a breather.

I was wondering about that piano thing, too. ANd the dancing thing, kind of, but a different regard. He "knew how to dance" because he had been practicing on the streets right? maybe, it was kid of stupid and aimless, but anyway... you know how everyone looked @ him weirdly when he was dancing on the street, but in the Jazz club, he was basically dancing the same way, and people thought it was cool? I don't know, that whole thing was stupid. He should have made her mad someother way than "stealing her show"

I finally saw the movie on Saturday, and thought it was really good. One of the only really stupid parts was the whole 'ladies man' thing, as my brother puts it... it was cheezy and lame (and I also agree with some points Annabelle brings up, like there wasn't enough Venom, and the crappy child actor, etc). Other than that, even though the special effects were a bit overused, I thought it was well done.

The movie was just... alright. You have to see it because the other ones were good and to really believe how bad it is, but I wouldn't see it again, once was enough.

I thought the funniest part was when he puts his bangs in front of his face. I laughed so much at that! And whenever he showed up with the emo-do, it shocked me so much. I just couldn't believe how much he looked like Conon Obers, like luvthevalleyoh!

It was very all at once, switch scenes too fast. They could hva easily done TWO movies out of the storyline.

Ah-mazing.
Loved the movie.
Although there were a few things that I didn;t understand in the movie.
But they've all already been mentioned.

James Franco does look like James Dean. (I still have to see that film where he portrays Dean)
