Hey those that are in Toronto,

My mom is going there for business soon and I told her to get me something. Do you guys know where there are some good shopping malls that has H&M..A&F? Name and location? Or any boutiques that has some really cute stuff? Also, do you guys have a shopping street downtown like Vancouver has Robson St?

Any info would be awesome! THANKS IN ADVANCE

Also, Eaton Centre. It basically has everything, and is located in downtown Toronto. It has stores like H&M, A&F, Hollister, Aritizia, Lululemon, Sephora etc.

Queen St. West has a lot of neat stores. Also Bloor St. West which is more high end. Even Yonge St. around the Eaton Centre has some good stores.

^^Yup, Eaton Centre is a shopping mall in downtown Toronto. They have A&F, Hollister, H&M, tons more!
Visit the site: http://www.torontoeatoncentre.com/home/index.ch2

You could check out Bloor where all the high-end designer shops such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Holt Renfrew, etc are..

I believe the Yorkville area is around Yonge & Bloor, it's mostly high-end shops there too but there's tons of really cute stuff you could find!

And you should check out Queen street for some cute shops and Kensington Market if you're into vintage clothes and stuff!

I personally don't like H & M but I'd compare the shopping experience like going to a Winners.
The styles are great, but I personally don't like the material, feels like the clothes (but still a bit better) from Dynamite or Costa Blanca.

^^I think the styles of clothes available at H&M vary greatly. They have tons of lines there.

For example, the Divided line is like a more youthful line targetted more towards teens. It has adorable latest-fashions such as cute jumper dresses, those sporty jackets that were all over the S/S 07 runways, etc etc.. I guess you could compare it to Zara or Mango and maybe a bit of Costa Blanca as well.

Then there's the regular Ladies collection which is still quite trendy, but they've also got the more sophisticated classy pieces. You could find anything from a pair of tailored shorts or capris to a cute trench coat to a cute peterpan collar top. I would compare it to Mexx, Zara, and somewhat UB.

There's also the Trend Ladies collection which I find to be the most expensive of all their collections. The stuff is definitely more trendy and imo, a bit better in quality than the other collections. The stuff in this collection I find also has a lot more exquisite detailing, which I guess explains the higher price tag. I think I would compare this collection to Aritzia, Mango, Zara.

This floral blouse is from the Trend Ladies collection and I think it's absolutely gorg! I think I'm gunna get it within the next week or so.

However, not all H&M locations carry all these collections. In toronto, the only stores that carry the Trend Ladies collection is the Bloor Street and the Eaton Centre location. But I think they all have the regular ladies collection. Check the H&M site for locations and they'll tell you which location has which collection.

I find that H&M is a VERY UNIQUE store and I honestly cannot compare one store's style to H&M's accurately. They have a wide variety of things and you never really know what you'll find since merchandise changes quickly. But it's definitely worth the trip there, the store is filled with the cutest items and latest styles and oh-so affordable!

Anyways, hope this helps!

The Eaton Centre has H&M, Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, Aritzia, Lululemon, Bebe, Bebesport, BCBG, FCUK, and lots more.

Sherway Gardens contains a lot of those stores, but it's west of downtown Toronto (used to be called Etobicoke).

H&M is tends to carry a lot of trendier clothes, and to me, like someone else said, it does feel a lot like Costa Blanca or Dynamite. When I went there I found that I couldn't figure out which clothes to look at first, because there was so much and I didn't want to miss anything.

*oh and about the name Eaton, I'm pretty sure the mall was named after the department store that you remember, called Eaton's. I remember when they had Eaton's everywhere but the stores no longer exist because they went bankrupt, however the mall is still called the Eaton Centre because that's where the first store was.
