No kidding. Most people in this generation say it's social suicide and that they wouldn't be caught dead wearing them. I totally disagree. Fanny packs are one of the greatest object to ever be invented. I am a very selfish person and I am always concious about people stealing my money. Well fanny packs can fix my psychological problem. I can simply stash my money in there so I can keep my eye on it 24/7 and I don't have to worry about it getting stealed. Another reason as to why fanny packs are great is that I can stash my school supplies in. It makes an ultimate pencil case.

I want to buy one that I can wear to school but I have check various stores around my town and they don't have them. Any ideas?

You must agree with me because Fanny packs are great!

it all depends how a person wears it. if it looks ugly on you, then you can't pull off the look. it's like seeing overweight people trying to wear skinny jeans, it all depends on the person and their style, and wear what to match it. i have a gucci fannypack and i think it looks good. anyways, if you want a durable fannypack, check mountain co-op. they have decent looking fannypacks that are durable and wouldn't look bad for school.

ahahha there is this couple from australia staying at my friends house... and in Australia when someone says fanny they are refering to a vagina...so when someone asked her what was in her fanny pack she was like "OMG, YOU ASSHOLE!" ahahah

Fanny Packs remind me of my pe teacher...he was a geek. ahaha.

When I think of the term "fanny pack"... I automatically think of those big bags my mom used to wear! The ones that a lot of teens have right now, are more commonly known as "pouches". I have one and I think they're great. I feel safe since my money and other stuff is on me personally. Also, I have a big problem with forgetting things, so it helps. I don't wear it all the time (I just bring a tote to school), but if I go shopping, I do. There's really different perspectives on this topic too - some of my friends are dying for one, while others are kind of... hating it.

I think the ones that are really dorky touristy looking ones are uglyyyy but the nicely designed ones are okay.

But I'd never wear them. I prefer purses

Roots has nice ones. They're leather, and flat, and come in a variety of colours.

I don't like them. I guess they're good so you dont have to worry bout your money and all, but honestly, I think they're ugly. I don't think they're stylish or they flatter anyone. But I know you can get them at CAA (the tourist shop) cuz my parents got theirs there. And I still have one I got from an airplane a looooooong time ago hahaha.

I don't like fanny packs. They remind me of when I was 6 and had a red nylon one, and when you opened it up and pulled out the inside, it turned into a jacket.
But even the newer, more "fashionable" ones aren't that great looking.

^That one's actually quite nice..much more sophisticated and classy. The other ones look really trashy imo.

I love the Guess, Gucci, Coach, etc. ones, the ones that have their logo stamped all across the bag.

Ok Lululemon has some fanny pack type things but they are super cute and much more stylish than regular ugly fanny packs (no offense) lol. You should totally get it.

Heres the link.

i think the whole "UGLY!" thing about fanny packs is that they're shapeless, bulging, have plastic-y material, and the strap around is so cheap and style-less.
the new ones are cool, but I wouldn't put it right in front, maybe to the side, that would look better. though, I like the guy Gucci ones that go across the chest, without the shiny fabric and the shiny clasps. Like I have to get one! Razz

haha that's so funny about the vagina thing.

it's funny how i read the title of this and the first thing i said in my head was that i wouldn't be caught dead wearing one, then what do i read ?

"No kidding. Most people in this generation say it's social suicide and that they wouldn't be caught dead wearing them."

haha that made me laugh too.

anyway I don't really like them, they make me feel kind of like a solicitor or homeless person.

but that nice one someone posted...i might wear that...
