I like Herbal Essences (coloured, permed, dry, damaged hair-i'm not any of that but oh well it works fine!). Also Fructis long and strong and Loreal Professional are good.

For conditioner I like Fructis, Herbal Essences (the cirtrus lift one), and Down Under Naturals.

hmph. I am not sure how Pantene worked on you guys, but this is just my opinions and my hairdresser's opinions.

Pantene hair products are actually very bad. From my personal experience, it maybe seem like the conditioner makes your hair super smooth, but it actually damages your hair. My friend who works at a pharmaceutical company told me that that it's cuz Pantene hair products have A LOT of chemicals in them.

It's so true! It doesn't repair the hair itself, it just MAKES it look repaired by coating it with a wax-like substance. Some people who repeatedly use a certain type of Pantene get wax build-ups, and need to use a clarifying shampoo once in a while. Plus, once people swithc to another brand, the weird waxy stuff goes away, and they see how damaged their hair has ACTUALLY gotten .. and then they think it's because their new shampoo/conditioner sucks, so they go back to Pantene, when in reality Pantene made it awful in the first place.

Anyway, I've now switched over to Hairapy .. it's awesome! One of the best shampoo/conditioner/leave-ins I've ever used. I'd actually repurchase this, again and again. I just hope it's not like Pantene where the "healing" is only on the outside .. I hope my hair ACTUALLY is as healthy as it looks, instead of Pantene where your hair looks healthy but it's actually dead.

lol i change every now and then as well....

from Herbal Essences to Aussie to Down Under Naturals.

but somehow, it's only Down Under Naturals that makes my hair smell good like it's the only shampoo my hair absorbs the fragrance from.....my bf even complimented me and my nice-smelling hair
