Okay. So I'm sure everybody's already heard of this game in some form or another. It *is* best played without the internet (in real life)... but... I thought I'd try to see how it goes on here.
It's pretty simple. One person says a name that has a First Name and a Last Name. The First LETTER of the Last NAME, becomes the FIRST Letter of the FIRST NAME. So for example:
1st person: Christina Aguilera
2nd person: Ally McBeal
3rd person: Mike Myers
2nd person: Michael W. Smith
4th person: Sheryl Crow
...
Okay. Here are the rules. Pretty easy to remember:
1.) DON'T CHEAT. That just sucks the fun right out of it. ONLY use names that you know in your head - not the internet.
2.) 1-word names are NOT allowed. i.e. "Meatloaf", "Bert", "Eminem"
3.) You can ONLY use:
Famous people (includes historic/past people)
Celebrities (any kind of famous celebrity)
TV & Movie Characters
Characters from Books
4.) You CANNOT use:
Band names
Companies/Businesses/Shop names
Products or its lines
Song names
Movie names
Book names
The names of your friends (unless they're famous/well-known)
FAMOUS/KNOWN PEOPLE ONLY!!!
5.) For the sake of this game being played on the internet, please include a reference of how this person is famous - just in case other people don't know who you're talking about and you're just not making up random names. So like:
1st person: Christina Aguilera - pop singer
2nd person: Ally McBeal - main character of a TV show
3rd person: Mike Myers - actor, played "Austin Powers"
2nd person: Michael W. Smith - famous christian singer
4th person: Sheryl Crow - singer
6.) Can't use the same name more than once. This doesn't mean only you... but you can't use names othe people have already said... otherwise, the game'll just get too easy.
7.) If anybody says a last name that has an X, Y, or Z as the first letter... the next person has the right to say a random name. This is because first names that start with X,Y,Z are pretty hard.

I think that's about it. I may be forgetting some rules... but I'll see how it goes, and I'll update the rules if/when I remember them.
