I have no idea where I'm going next year, so I can't say!
^^you're only taking 6 courses next year? that's the first thing I thought, but then I realized that I only took 6 courses as well. You're lucky about math, you guys won't have to do proofs, which I dislike very much (others feel differently, however). _________________

I registered for my courses for next semester (Spring 2008) today. I'm taking:
English 2276 - Creative Writing: Non-Fiction
Communications 1118 - Written Communications
Chinese 1115 - Beginner's College Chinese I
Political Science 1160 - Contemporary Ideologies
I really wanted to take Marketing 1115... but it was full
Has anyone else registered / signed up for their courses for next term / semester yet?

Next term....
PSYC218 - Analysis of Behavioral Data
FMST200 - Contemporary Family Relationships
-ASTR310 - Exploring the Universe: The Solar System
Usually I should be taking 5 courses, but I took 2 in the summer in HK so I've got a nice easy term ahead of me (hopefully). |

^They take prerequisites first, and then whatever remaining courses are highest are considered in the average. If you have 8 courses, they will take your top 3 during this semester, and the top 3 next semester (or 6 if you're non-semestered.) _________________

^12th
if your wondering about the two courses that are only "II" is because one can't take drafting until his or her 10th grade year (I skiped this year doing drafting) and one can't take Creative Photo I until 11th grade. Our course variety sucks.
btw. I'm comtemplating whether or not to take AP phsyc. We don't have it at our school, but we have it on FL's online program and one of our teachers is thinking about being the advisor for it. _________________

yeah i think i'm only good at science because i actually like it? although i think this is partially because i lovee my sci teacher (had the same one this year and last- she's like crazyy sometimes, as in will randomly start singing in class, but she's a great teacher). Kind of a typical answer but i wanna be a pediatrician? lol.
Your school sounds really cool since you get to take courses like clothing & textiles, interior design etc.. my school doesnt have anything like that =( Although now i'm thinking i might wanna do media studies? _________________

^hehe, i'm kinda the same way too. If I'm good at doing something, I'll automatically almost always enjoy doing it (like certain math problems are actually fun to do when you understand it). And your science teacher sounds awesome! I wish all my teachers could be as fun as how your science teacher sounds.
A pediatrician is a childrens' doctor...right? If that's what it means, I'd love to be one too...except for the fact that I don't wanna see the kids cry (if they get hurt or have to take shots) and science just makes me go crazy sometimes.
I think that my school has so many choices because it has such a big number and variety of students (2000+!) I love how we have many different courses...but I hate how the hallways always get so crowded between classes. :/
And if you really want to, you should take media studies! Maybe by taking it, you'll discover that you want a career in media more than as a pediatrician. It's always good to explore your options. (: _________________ used to be 'sw33tlilhugz' on the old f18. (; |
