Hey guys,
Every time I apply mascara it always smudges underneath my eye when I blink. Am I applying it wrong? I'm so confused.

You mean it comes off onto the bottom of your eye? If it's while or right after you're putting it on, then try not to blink as much; it needs time to dry. And, clean it up right away, since some mascaras stay on your skin really... um... well, for a lack of a better word.

If it's coming off while you're wearing it during the day, then perhaps you should invest in another mascara. Which one are you using right now? I have mascaras from Elizabeth Arden, Maybelline XXL and Great Lash Waterproof. All of them stay on pretty well after I apply them (Great Lash takes a little longer to try, since it's waterproof).

Yea, probably the case is because of the time when I blink too fast. I'm using Lancome and Great Lash. But sometimes, as I apply it, it already starts coming off.

Try to keep from blinking, or blink really softly when you apply it. Wait 30 seconds to a minute before going on with your regular life.

^ Is it waterproof mascara?

And try putting a lot of loose powder under your eyes before you apply mascara .. then it's easier to just dust off the extra powder that has bits of mascara fallen on it. I've never tried this, but every article I read says to do this .. see if it works!

Frankly I would just separate a piece of tissue into its layers [like you know how some tissues are 2 ply, 3 ply, etc.] and put one of the layers under my eye when I apply mascara. I have contacts so I *have* to blink frequently, or they blur over. If you separate the tissue and tear it into pieces you can use the same tissue several times before getting a new one, so its not wasteful.

^well it isn't that it's while i'm applying it. i can jsut wipe it away or whatever. its like the equivilent of smudy eyeliner. it's really hard to rub ALL of it off when it's sumdged throught the day.

An hour or 2? Hm... try not to put too much on then. Just a light brush. And after you're done applying, brush your lashes. This reduces the clumps.

L'oreal Paris Panoramic Curl (waterproof)... I got it a few days ago and went swimming with it, and even then, it hardly smudged. Though I didn't go underwater, you'd think from the random splashes of water that got on my face, I'd look like a racoon.

It's quite hard to get off though.

mascara may smudge due to oil under your eyes. so if u put cream on ur eye then the oil from the cream will break down the mascara and cause it to smudge.
