Has anyone else noticed this? What happened, it used to be a nice store that had a good balance of like pricier and moderate things, I thought (like below the belt).
I went to the store by CTV today and it was full of junk!!! The denim (ok well on another note I finally found out where everyone is getting these cheap jeans called "shank" that annoy me) is like NO selection..except Fidelity and Mavi... Geesh.
do you guys think more people are shopping there because of the change or not? I'm definately not buying anytime soon.. maybe they're catering to a high school crowd or something. |

That sucks (not that I've noticed because I moved, etc etc). As far as I knew, they were the only store that sells Dish, a canadian brand of jean that I LOVE. I can't find them elsewhere at all. _________________

I've never been to Off The Wall so I might go check it out. Is it in downtown or something? _________________

^ Off the Wall is only in BC and Alberta.
I haven't been there for a long time. Their clothes don't appeal to me anymore. _________________

It used to have nicer clothes/brands though.
Now it's like Garage version 2. |

I havnt noticed that? Well i live in Calgary so perhaps its different.
Although they have always had some okay brands (Roxy, Silver, etcetera) mixed with some better brands (J brand, Fidelity, etcetera). I think the selection is really varied. But i like it - its a nice store |

| Some of the stuff I think is going pretty downhill, but the last time I was in I did see quite a few cute reasonable priced things from their Song line. |

honestly, I think off the wall's selection is pretty good. It's has a lot of variety. Except only certain things appeal to me. They should get better bags and stuff, the shoes they sell are really nice though, I saw some pretty cute ballet inspired flats there last week. I just like their variety because out of all of the clothes, you can at least find one thing you'll love. _________________ < fashion 3 |

| Yeah, I've definitely noticed that I don't like the tops and jeans sold there anymore. I think they have really started to emphasize their "Shank" jeans and "Song" brand, both of which I find look cheap. Still, they sell cute shoes and nice bags, and their prices are affordable. |

| i think they're just carrying a minimal amount of the more expensive brands. at off the wall metrotown, i'm pretty sure soundgirl and gentle fawn share a table, and other denim they sell, like guess, fidelity, paper denim & cloth, and 1921 are shoved aside to make room for the house brand. certain things appeal to me there, but i think they're really pushing basics too. |

My cousin who used to own a location likes to think that everything is going downhill because they can't survive without him, lol
I've noticed that the selection in most of the Off The Wall stores has decreased, but the one in my mall seems to still be doing fine... _________________ ...DArk duCKY..

I noticed that some of their stuff has gone "downhill" a bit
but they have a lot of fun seasonal stuff like printed tees, dresses, and shorts
I just wouldn't go there for things like jeans, jackets, and bags.. stuff that I want to last a while and go throughout the seasons. _________________ if you were a melody,

yeahh i used to love off the wall, but I agree about how it's not what it used to be.
Still, it sells more roxy than any other store I know. And I love their song brand!!! _________________ [aka mitsukoshi]

I find that there's just too much song and butter products! it's driving me insane!!! now the only stuf that appeals to me there is just the roxy stuff. I don't exactly remember how much better stuff used to be there. But I do agree that there's only like, shank, mavi and some other small brands for jeans. _________________

| I think that Off the Wall's good for some basic stuff - plain tunics, etc. from their Song brand, just cause it's pretty cheap and it's not horrid quality like some other places. However, I do agree with that some of their pieces, particularly like the trendy ones aren't that great anymore...anyways, I really love Off the Wall cause they have awesome sales, though they get UBER chaotic. |

^^I totally agree how there's more and more of their own brands like Song and Shank (?), which I think is a jeans brand. The stuff is okay and cheap, but sometimes it also looks cheap and the quality isn't that great. Whether or not this is good is another issue, since it means Off the Wall is getting more affordable, but the clothing caters to a different demographic.
Do you guys know what more popular brands the stores carry a lot of? All I can think of is Roxy, Dish, Gentle Fawn, and Paul Frank. |

^ The last time I went there, they started having some Guess stuff. But not a lot of it. They also have Addias, Puma, Billabong, Zoo York, Mavi...that's all I can think of right now.
I usually shop there when they have sales. They have some pretty cheap things there like when their Roxy, Billabong and other brands go on sale. I saw Roxy jeans for 20 - 30 dollars. Pretty decent. Roxy and those surfer brands are cheaper at Off the Wall than Swimco and West 49. _________________
