(I thought about putting this in the anything goes section, but then I thought that it already had alot of topics and sinse this one would work in either I went with In The News/ Today)
Yesterday, in gym (this is related, I promise) we went to the cafeteria becuase there was a big wrestling meat going on, so I got to talk to my friends who have different gym classes (we're all in the gym, we just do different things). Our convorsation morphed into where we will be in 15 years soo......
two questions:
1) What do you want to do for a career when you get older?
2) Where do you see yourself in 15 years? (married, kids, where you will be living, or your most probable stereotype if not married or in a relationship (i.e. tramatic artist, pill popping doctor, etc))
----------------------------
1) Film Director (not movie, film... there's a difference) ,but maybe occasional big budget things, and a screenwriter. Also, I want to maybe write a direct a few Broadway things. Directing Music Videos would also be fun. Or maybe even a commercail agent. My mom thinks my dreams are far fetched.
2) I want to be living on the east coast if I stay in America. If not, then Venice or Milan, or maybe even London. In the convo I had with my group of friends, I said I'll probably end up being a crazy cat lady with plum velvet sofas that have stains all over them. But I would like to have a husband and a few kids. Maybe I won't start a family until I'm well devopled in the bussiness, because (as well displayed in Devil Wears Prada) things can always go wrong when you're trying to work yourself up the job ladder. _________________

1) What do you want to do for a career when you get older?
I would like to get into medical school and become a physician. I'm not yet sure what I would like to specialize in.
2) Where do you see yourself in 15 years? (married, kids, where you will be living, or your most probable stereotype if not married or in a relationship (i.e. tramatic artist, pill popping doctor, etc))
I would like to get married, start a family and have two children of my own. I would like to own a home within the mountains and devote the rest of my life towards my career, raising my family and nature itself. |

1. I'm going to take over my family business, merge with with the business of our family friends who have a son close to my age, and outsource a lot of the clerical work to India, China, or wherever cheap, reliable work can be found. I plan on making less money than my parents because I don't want to work as much as they do. I'll probably work half the hours they work.
2. I'm positive that I'll own a house 15 years from now, in Toronto. I think I'll have a garden in it and a dog. I'm quite sure I'll be in a relationship but I may not be married. I most certainly won't still be dating my boyfriend. Because of that, I probably won't be a Scout leader anymore. I think my personality is going to change quite a bit, as well. |

1. I'll be working in finance, something in investments/stock market. I'll also get the Chartered Accounting designation so I can do taxes for people as a side job.
2. Married, kids, living in Sydney, London, or Bern (Switzerland) working for some big finance company.. big house, two cars, etc.
If not that, then I'm most likely some crazy workaholic doing 50 hour weeks and living in an overpriced condo in downtown Toronto. _________________

1) Either in Law or Commerce/Business/Finance type stuff. Criminal Law would be ideal, and yeah. I would love to be able to have a side thing in the fashion industry or something...I really do love fashion.
2) (Hopefully!) Married, with kids, living the great life. Perhaps London, New York or Paris. I'd love to live in Europe. The atmosphere and everyhing's just so much better. If London then a great, architectural house, and New York/Paris, a loft/condo. Family would come first but who knows, I'll probably be a working freak.
It scares me to think about myself 15 years from now. |

I want to be a music movie manager, I think it's ambitious but still realistic.
I think maybe I'll be in a serious relationship even if I'm not married and maybe having my first child. Wherever I'll be living, it won't be in the suburbs. |

1) Umm I'm actually not really sure yet. I'd like to be a social worker for people living in the street, but I'd also love to be an architect. Or even an interior designer.
2) In 15 years.. I'll be 30. So, I guess I'd like to have 4 kids, not married (eh divorce is just too complicated), so in a relationship with a nice house.
And I'd like to be a foster parent. _________________ ILEANAAAAAAAAAAAAA

1. I want to be a veterinarian. If that doesn't work out then I'll be a marine biologist or a zoologist of some sort .. but next time I'm entering a program that leads to being a vet so I really hope that works out =P.
2. In 15 years .. I'll be .. in my mid-30s? By then I'll probably still be working out of somebody else's private practice, but I'll be thinking about starting my own. Either that, or I'll work as a company veterinarian for Petsmart since I already have a history with that company. Or, I'll work with zoo animals .. that would be freaking awesome. I really want to work with Vets Without Borders. I would LOVE that.
I'll have a ZOO of pets of my own at home. I want to live in an apartment in a big city, or in a townhouse.
I don't know if I'll be married. Maybe I will, maybe I won't .. I don't want children but it could happen. You never know. I kind of hope not. As for relationships, I don't really see the point in getting married .. I'd be happy with a common-law marriage. But if I work for Vets Wtihout Borders I'll probably travel all the time, which isn't so great for a family .. maybe I'll find somebody just so I have somebody to take care of my pets for free while I'm gone =P. |

1. I want to be some senior Architect at a big architectual firm - or even better, a large firm of my own. Working with municipalities, governments, and organizations designing large, multi-use complexes that have New Urbanist and Transit-Oriented Development ideals that integrate public and private life with the surrounding natural environment.
2. In 15 years, I'll be 36. If all goes well, I would've graduated from graduate school a few years prior, I would've already gotten my AIA membership certification, and I'd be working a relatively good position at some large architectual firm. I would be married with 2 kids, living in a 3-bedroom condo (that has a Gold LEED rating ) somewhere out in Point Grey.
Either that, or I'll be doing some kind of webdesign (who know what kind of internet we'll have in 15 years?), teaching computer skills at a public school in Vancouver. |

1) I plan to be a lawyer. Start off in Political Sciences and Philosophy, get into law school... start my own firm in Toronto.
2) Well... I suppose I would like to be married by then (I'd be 30). One or two kids, maybe a kid on the way? Living in the suburbs, nice house, my own car, respectable salary.
Behold the average, Canadian dream. _________________

Well, I really want to be either a teacher/lawyer. Get into an Ivy League uni after I'm finished with U of T. I'm so scared about LSATS though.
2) Where do you see yourself in 15 years? (married, kids, where you will be living, or your most probable stereotype if not married or in a relationship (i.e. tramatic artist, pill popping doctor, etc))
Hmmm, in 15 years I'll be 28. Hopefully I'll be in Ivy League? Maybe? LOL. Definitely graduated UofT. I'd really like to be married. A volkswagon beetle! I want that so much. Same with electricpearls, I'd also want my own house and a good salary. _________________

I'll be like 32. wowsa.
1.) I want to be a physics prof. lol, isn't that crazy.
It won't happen, I'll probably be a writer still working on my first book.
2.) I want to live in England, with a nice smallish but not tiny house in a suburb that isn't like suburbs in Mississauga, but like a neighbourhood with good spaces between all the houses and a long quiet road in between. (Not likely in England though, 'cause the property is expensive! yikes)
I hope I'll be married! To this man with dark brown hair and hazel eyes (lol, I'm dreaming) and I'll adopt one girl from China. I'll have like a cute silver Mercedes though, but I'll have like not a showy front yard or interior, just nice interior design.
I'll probably be a moody bitch.

I'll be 31...omg.
1) I want to be a biomedical engineer. I'll probably be practicing (hopefully lol) by then, either in a hospital or in a private engineering firm. I'll get my degree at McGill University.
2) I know I'll be married (probably), for sure in a stable relationship. I want kids, and I'll had them by then. I don't know where I will live, it will depend I guess. Either in Montreal or in the United States. _________________ maude <3 |

| In 15 years I will be 30 going on 31... so ideally engaged or married with the man of my dreams (^_^) in a nice, average house in either Alberta or BC. I'll have graduated from UBC in psychology, working as a researchist and thinking about having kids. If I already have kids, I'd like twins, one boy and one girl. Yaaay. |
