What pets do you have? What pets do you plan to have?

.. might as well start this up again.

What pets I have: I have a 6 yr old West Highland White Terrier [Cocoa Bean], a green treefrog [Froglet], and tanks of fish [incl. a fish named Chuck Norris], both planted.

What pets I plan to have: Either a green cheek conure or a pionus [depends on the character of the bird him/herself anyway], when I get a place of my own I'm definitely getting a parrot. Plus, a leopard gecko, a hamster [I had one years ago but she died after a long life], 3 guinea pigs, and I'd of course bring along my dog and treefrog =P. If I were to get another dog, I'd get a Shetland Sheepdog. And of course .. TONS of fish tanks. Several smaller 10 gallon tanks, all heavily planted, plus 2 40-55 gallon tanks [one with semi-aggressive fish, one with schooling community fish], maybe another bigger tank for cichlids, MAYBE a saltwater tank .. and of course, one bigger tank [~100 gallons] which would house tons and tons of peaceful community fish.

I don't know about the rest of my future, but I've got that aspect all planned out =P.

haha, thats okay.
i used to have fish, trust me you dont want them.
even though it sounds weird, there a pain.
you have to feed them everyday, clean there gross tank every week.
and there just boring!

right now i have a dwarf hamster named Buttons he is the love of my life lol Very Happy

i've had a black/white kitten [Boobah], pure white bunny [Lil Sack], dwarf hamster [Meatball], they've either been given away or passed away Crying or Very sad

i would love to have a pomeranian or another kitten. or something super exotic like a monkey, two toed sloth and i absolutely love otters! Wink

right now i have a dog and turtles...although i wish i didn't have the turtles. they are so boring and i feel guilty if i give them away..and i'd feel even worst if i killed them..lol. and what sucks is that they live for like a bajillion years.

if i were to get more pets...(minus the fact that i'd have to clean them haha)..i'd want tropical fish and that monkey from the telus commercial Very Happy

I don't have any pets right now but I used to own hamsters and had a fish tank for a few years.

But what I really want is a dog. Ladyh mentioned it, and I love shelties. They are so adorable and I know someone who has one and gosh she really trained it well. It's very intelligent and obedient and I took care of it for awhile when they went on vacation and I fell in love. I really like golden retrievers too. And yorkshire terriers are also really smart dogs but they can get a little yappy. I don't think I'll get a dog for awhile though. I'm going to university soon and I won't be home much and I just won't have the time to take care of pets. So I'm just going to have to wait for a few years.

Oh and I also would like to own fish again. I used to have betta fish too and those were really pretty.

Aww I miss having pets.

I have a maltese dog. It's a boy.. so he doesn't have crazy long scary hair, like in the pictures on google T_T. I used to have five fishies but my dad flushed them down the toilet Confused

i have nothing but fish. technically their not mine their my dad's and .. he's like crazy about them their like his second kids. they KNOW when my dad's home its so damn scary. o_O we have like THREE tanks.

I had: a fish named Bella. I was 3 when I got her, and was really proud of having my own pet. I would feed her every day and told my dad that he had to clean her aquarium. He thought it wasn't necessary, and after just 4 days, she died! I was so sad...

Then, I got a guinea pig who was almost completely white, so I named him Snow. He lasted for a few years and I loved him so much, even though he was slightly stinky. Then my sister got a dog. My porr guinea pig was so terrified that it stopped eating! We had to give it away to my aunt because we couldn't keep both. It was so unfair that it was my pet, who was older, that we had to give away. I love my dog now though. He runs like a bunny, it's so cute!!

I plan to have: Erm... really not sure. I wanted fish to decorate my room for a while, not a tank but just a bowl thing. Meh, we'll see. But when I move out I definitely want a dog or a cat or atleast an interactive pet.

about a year ago i had a budgie, oh i loved that bird. it died suddenly Shocked

i'm getting a kitten soon, and i'm naming her coco.

and the cat who is three but looks like a kitten... Tybalt. Yay Romeo and JUliet... Tybalt= Prince of Cats. Actully fyi... Shakespere got the from an old fabel were the vilan dude was a sly cat thing and his name was Tibert... the useless knowledge I know.... I'm okay now. :lol:

- Green Cheek Conure [his .. ish, we both had a long history with this bird before he actually adopted her]
- 3 Bearded Dragons [his]
- American Green Tree Frog [mine, he is frog-sitting while I live away for school]
- Various other frogs [Mantellas, Poison Darts .. his]
- 2 Carpet Chameleons [his]
- 1 Chinese Water Dragon [his]
- 1 Hamster [mine]
- Many fish tanks [mostly mine]
- 2 Everglade Rat Snakes [his .. obviously lol]
- Taiwan Beauty Snake [his]
- 2 Yellow Rat Snakes [his, of course, he has one that is 5'9 which he is breeding and has had for over 10 years]
- 1 Leopard Gecko [fairly "unexotic" and boring compared to his other more dangerous pets but I freaking love his gecko, he's adorable]

He will soon be taking on another snake [a ball python .. not that interesting, they're really easy to keep, at least compared to his other snakes, and they are sooo docile .. okay well at least compared to his other snakes lol], and another more interesting species [emerald tree boa or rainbow boa?].

Chances are I have forgotten somebody .. that usually happens ..

^wow, that's a lot! you (and your boyfriend) are so lucky to be able to have so many pets! I love animals and I want a dog or a cat but my parents won't let me. Sad

or a farret, but my parents think farrets are weird.
