blabbing to vent

One of my guyfriends questions his relationship with his gf when he's around me.. Not literally "questions" aloud but he sometimes wonders whether he should stay with his gf or maybe try being with me.

We usually hang out alone (just the 2 of us) but I don't flirt with him and I'm 100% respectful of his gf. He's never made moves on me but the way he looks at me or pauses when he talks to me sometimes hints that he's somewhat interested in me..

Apparently I understand him, his humour, his way of thinking better than his gf too.. and (this is what our mutual friend said to me) I'm taller, prettier, funnier than his gf (personally I'm flattered but I don't agree with that rationale). It's been said/joked/hinted that he and I would "make a great couple". Of course, he and I just laugh when our friends hint at that.

Ok, yeah, to be honest I wouldn't be opposed to dating him. He's a good guy and seriously we're good buddies. He's blunt with me adn vice versa which is so refreshing (no false pleasantries ever).
It's just... he's taken and he loves his gf so.. hmm. He's going on an exchange trip this summer which supposedly may put strain on his relationship with his gf.

I dunno, that rambling wall all pretty pointless I guess but I just had to blab. No conclusions here.. I'm not sure hat to do or if there's even anything to be done cuz nothing's really happening right now Neutral

It feels nice to vent, and I'm glad you respect your friend enough not to go after him. Is this the same one who...? Crusty, no-crusty browny...?
