Which one of the dresses do you think is the nicest... or prom appropriate?? the first 3 are under $200, and the rest are $450 plus...

the style of the first and third one are very hard to pull off, but i say if you have the body for it, go for it
the second red one is really cute and simple but it just doesn't scream "unique prom dress" to me
i also really like the 4th purple one, the colour is gorgeous
my favourite is the 5th shimmery strapless one, its gorgeous and i love the bow
and i love the yellow of the last dress

I think the last two are gorgeous, simply stunning. However, if it were me, I would probably go for the red one since it's a dress that almost everyone can pull off. It's simple, but also very pretty and the detailing below the bust adds a little bit of glam. Personally I'm not that big a fan of longer floor length gowns because if not worn correctly, they can look way too formal. And in my books, it's always better to be under dressed than over.

If it works for your body, I'd go with the first one. I love the colour, and its not too over the top. I love the floor-length gowns, they're gorgeous, but I think a little much even for prom.

I think if you have a nice golden tan skin, I think the lemon yellow would look magnificent on you!

The red one is only $168.. and I like it.. the price is great. and i can wear it again..
it also comes in black.

I think the 1st one is the best, but like everyone said, only if you can pull it off. The 5th one is also gorgeous, but I'm not sure if I like that it's so long.

Without looking at the other posts, I'm going to have to say that the red one should be the one - it's simple, red looks wonderful on just about everybody, AND it's under $200!

The fourth one is absolutely STUNNING and just *screams* SEX (in a good way, of course ;)_orange

)... though that just might be the look of the model modelling in it.
The fifth one is just GORGEOUS. Absolutely gorgeous.
The last one is very pretty - love the yellow, and it's fairly simple yet still elegant.

Out of the last 3, I'd pick the middle one.... but if you can pull off the first of the 3, I'd say go for it! Happy

I love the first one! I think any of the short dresses are gorgeous. I really like the yellow aswell but you have to make sure you have the right skin tone for yellow because I know on me and other pasty people it can look pretty bad lol The long dresses are nice but I think short is better for prom and you will get more wear out a short dress.

I like the red one the best. I remember looking there for one for my school's winter formal. I think i personally would get something between my knees and ankles, though, a happy medium I guess. Of course, you COULD alter one of the longer ones to make them shorter and therefore less fancy, but I think that would be very hard with that hemline. They're nice too. It depends what you look like I guess. Yellow is nice for spring Happy

Also remember you don't have to spend that much for prom. You can buy really nice dresses for a lot less and they will still look fabulous. Plus then you can get alterations so it fits nicely on you.

Here's some dresses I like, but your style's probably different than mine. I like a lot of bright colours and stuff. Except some of the colours I chose look like evening colours but I dunnno!

I was looking at last years grade 12 photos and everyone was wearing those princessy dresses.. but I dont want one of those....
so what do you guys think abou this one? its only $78 USD

^^ I really love the second one, the colour is fun but the silhouette's simple and sophisticated enough to not be TOO out there. Out of the original ones you posted, I'm loving the second and second to last ones, although the length of the second to last one might suggest a more formal look.

At my prom, things were definitely a little less casual, and more people went for shorter gowns than for graduation. The second one I love cause the cut is versatile (will probably look good on almost everyone), and since it's not TOO fancy you could probably wear it again, and plus, it's cheap!

yes, that purply-pink one is really pretty! personally i hate strapless dresses though because i hate having to pull them up and worrying about them while im dancing. i love the red one (the 2nd one of the originals) and the 4th one there also.

i love though shoes! the jewels have a bit of glam and gives it that extra pizzaz! loveee

i really like the first dress (the blue colour is georgous) but again only if you can pull it off..

otherwise i'd go with the red one (in the red not the black) because its so versatile and the back is really nice too Happy

-i think the first two are kind boring and not very original
-i LOVE the yellow one if you can pull it of, it looks amazing on the model:D, but then again i kinda dont think its enough for prom

-the blue is gorgeous! maybe a little too much?

I like the first and second one. They're really dressy but don't scream "PROM", so if you have a really fancy event to go to later on (like a wedding) you could wear it again.
