I'm not sure how many of you watch hockey, but Bourdon was a young defenseman on the Vancouver Canucks. One of our top prospects and was most likely going to develop into a big time player. He also won gold with Canada in the past couple World Junior Championships.

Unfortunately, he passed away this morning. From what I've heard and read, his motorcycle went out of control and he hit a tractor.

It's really sad. He was only 21 with a great career ahead of him.

RIP.

Its always terrible to hear things like these about people who had a
good future in front of him.

I'm a huge fan of hockey and the Canucks so this is really sad news. He was such a great hockey player and so young. Best wishes goes out to his family, his teammates, and his friends. RIP.

When I heard this, I was so shocked...it's so weird for me to try to comprehend when things like this happen, because they always happen at the most random times and when you least expect, especially with Bourdon because he was so young - only two years older than me. It's so sad because he had such a promising future and I'm sure he was set out to do great things. Sad My heart goes out to his family and friends, he'll be missed by everyone who watched him on the ice.
