Who's watching it tonight? I have to admit, watching these things are like a guilty pleasure. Some of the evening gowns are gorgeeeouuss.

I watched it. I really wanted Colombia or Dominican to win, I thought that they were both extremely gorgeous. There were lots of pretty girls, but some were not, plus they looked awkward walking. I didn't understand some of the girls that advanced on from the swimsuit portion. And Miss USA tripped in evening gowns! I KNEW Miss USA would be in Top 18. The USA is ALWAYS in the Top 18, just cause they are from the USA.
But anways, the girl from Venezuela that won wasn't who I wanted to win, but I didn't midn that she did.

I wanted Colombia to win, but I think my favourite had to be Australia.
Venezuela was wearing too much makeup..
Yeah, I saw her fall. Didn't Miss USA fall last time too?

^Yeah, she was really cute. And yeah I think USA did fall last time haha.A lot of them were wearing too much make-up. And quite a few looked like Victoria's Secret models to me! (good thing)

Haha! I was disappointed in Miss Vietnam. I think they could/should have done better. I mean, come on. Host country!

At least she made the top 15. I think it was the first time ever..

My mom and I watched it and when she saw the evening gowns she called it that Venezuela would win and she was right! That dress was a stunner!

The only part I saw was on MTV when they showed Miss USA falling... Funny that USA fell two years in a row.

^ So did I, but mine was on CNN, haha such a serious show, shows something that does nothing (more or less) to help the country and the economy.

I watched it Happy I thought Columbia was going to win, she was sooo gorgeous and in a very natural way. However her quesiton answer was kind of iffy. Venezuela is a pageant powerhouse so it didn't surprise me that she won. I thought she was good but could have worn less make-up.

BTW _TNA_: Miss USA girls have made it in the top finalist 57 times and won I think about 7 or 8 times. Considering how the Miss Universe pageant started in the 50s, that's not a lot of times where USA hasn't been in the finals. I don't know why this is, except maybe for a fact that, oh, I don't know, Miss USA and Miss Universe are both owned by the same american company and also because like 90% of the judges are ALWAYS american? Like, if Miss Universe was ANYTHING like Miss World, USA would not have been as successful.

Isn't it funny how all the Miss USA girls manage to screw up? Like two years ago, Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner was in rehab for underage drinking and coke? And Miss Teen USA 2006 Katie Blair was caught kissing Tara while clubbing with her? And then of course, Miss USA 2007 Rachel Smith tripping during evening gowns and her successor Crystle Stewart doing the exact same a year later? And of course, let's not forget the hilarious but seriously stupid Miss South Carolina fiasco. And recently Miss... Wyoming? No... Mississippi I think... let me check Miss Kentucky USA was caught in a scandal involving racy photos. Oh my! And those are just the famous scandals...
