American Eagle just sent me one of many emails that they send each week. However even though the sender was American Eagle the website it advertised was not AE. It was Martin + Osa, which I have never heard of. It looks to be very similar to American Eagle only for an older age group, sort of like Ruehl 925. The clothes are pretty cute and a bit more fashionable.
I just searched it and found out it is a new addition to the company that makes American Eagle (which is why they sent me the email obviously). I'm surprised I've never heard of it. Anyway it says it targets people around age 30, but the main customers will be 25-40. It reminds me a bit of the Gap. I think that's sort of what AE needs, because moms and dads shop at AE, and so now they have somewhere they can go. Also they're in quite the competition with A&F already. I like how these clothes aren't branded with names all over. edit: i noticed they carry haviana flip flops and ray ban sunglasses. strange!
I was wondering if anyone has any information about it or has shopped there? _________________

I haven't shopped there or have any info on it but the clothes are really cute! I also like how they don't have labels plastered all over the clothes. If I get any more info on it, I'll be sure to let you know. (: _________________ used to be 'sw33tlilhugz' on the old f18. (; |

Wow, never heard of it before! But now that I've checked out their site, it's definitely a smart move for AE's parent company - now they can expand their demographic. Some of the stuff is really nice actually! I wonder if they'll be opening stores in Canada (or more specifically, Vancouver) any time soon? I'd be interested to see how different/similar the concept is to AE and if the clothes actually are any good! _________________

| They have some cute stuff, but I don't think it's worth the price for something so plain. It'll be a good step for AE though to keep in competition with A&F, especially in the states where they're all together. At least in Canada AE has a good advantage because they monopolized the sort of "casual preppy" look for years already before A&F/Hollister started coming in. |

Too bland, it's like a lower priced Banana Republic. But Banana Republic has some nice dresses. :/ _________________
