Coloured Denim

So bright coloured denim seems to be a huge trend right now. I guess the 80s and early 90s are back lol! At first I hated this trend, but the more I see it, the more it's starting to grow on me. So what are your opinions? I like the red and the yellow skinnies.

I like coloured denim, but I prefer pastels. I would buy a yellow, light pink, or mauve pair. I have no idea where to go to get any, though! I think I'll have to go all the way to Montreal, which sucks Sad

it depends on what colours for me
im more of a fan of lighter colours
the red would be too out there for me

Haha yeah, the trend is definitely not for everyone.

i think id stick to neutral colours
if im REALLY daring (and dont mind spending MORE money) id buy some light colours

They look nice. but im way to scared to ever actually try and get one.i dont want anyone reffering them as hot pants. I like the bright colour, but its a little to risky fo me. I'd have to be safe and get some boring colour hah

The sound of colored denim didn't really appeal to me, but after seeing pictures I kind of like them. I really like the red one with the bunched bottoms. I just don't know if I'd ever be able to pull them off.

I was thinking of getting a red or yellow pair in skinnies. I don't like them as flares either.

Has anyone seen them in red or yellow besides Urban Outfitters and online?

I like this look a lot! I would not usually like wearing a lighter, brighter coloured bottoms, pants, skirts, shorts etc but for some reason, coloured denim looks really good. I adore the skinny ones. But I wouldn't get them in a bright red because it doesn't look good on me. I like the other colours.

I'm not gutsy enough to wear bright colours.
But I do really like the grey colours and the yellow is really cute.

I'd stick with the blues, grays, whites, and blacks...coloured denim..hm no.

I would definitely wear coloured jeans (skinny or flare..probly flare) in black, dark grey, grey, white, beige, taupe.. basically the neutral colours lol.
*BUT* I somehow love the emerald green pair in the pic below:

ewww. not my thing. i like really dark classic denim. those coloured ones are going to go out of style before you could even break them in.

I wouldn't do anything overly bright, but there are some more subtle colours at American Apparel. I like gray jeans alot.

I haven't actually seen a lot of people wear coloured denim, but it could definitely become a big trend. I don't think I could pull it off, but I do like the grey skinnies. Coloured denim for me should definitely be skinnies or bootcut - flares just wouldn't work. It's a pretty bold trend, especially with the yellow, green, and red jeans, so unless I'm trying very hard to stand out, I wouldn't wear them.

I like grey, blue, light blue and white jeans. But I'm sticking to those. I really don't like the other ones. The green is a very nice colour, and I also like the yellow, but I can't imagine anyone wearing them.

Yeah I haven't seen a lot of people wearing this trend either. I think it's because the colours are so bold and most people are somewhat afraid to try them.

I like the grey, white, light yellow and black, I'd wear them. All the other really out there colours like green, red and purple are just, I can't see them looking good at all.

i don't know if i'm that into the really bright ones, like red and stuff. i'd just feel that i stand out too much in my school... haha.
i also don't think i could pull them off, haha.

but i really like grey, navy blue and black skinnys. and i think right now i would kill for a pair of white ones.

I'm thinking of getting emerald green ones..I just love the colour and when I tried them on, they fit so well (snug & comfy, the way they should fit Happy

). And if I don't get green ones, then I'll settle for a pair of yellow ones. I'm also thinking of getting them in light purple or pink.

xD I know grey skinnies are in..

But I think whats really cool is PINK denim. LOL xD I saw a girl from work wear it and it looks pretty nice. But I'd also go for a rich purple colour... but they look better as skinnies or at least no stretch jeans because theyd look really weird with flares...
