At my store, the keyholder opens and/or closes the store, deals with the safe (money and deposits)... kind of like a shift supervisor.

This is at Starbucks, though. Dunno about other places.

I'm guessing it's the person incharge or opening/closing, responsible for the keys?

yeah i think they mostly open/close the till & safe.
i dont think the door's matter that much but it comes along with it i guess.
