Which mp3? (relocated to Gadget forum)

i want a new mp3 and there are a few choices that seem pretty good.

ZEN V Plus 4gb-

its so cute and small!

Sandisk Sansa 4gb-

it has good features and easy to navigate

So which one is better?have any of u used any of them? which one is better? any other good choices?

For 30 GB i like the ipod video (smallest in the 30 GB mp3) but is it good? lik are there enough features? there isn't radio or recorder, etc.

Out of those two I'd choose the Zen because it's Creative and that brand rocks. But it is a smaller size being 4gb and all. Creative has other MP3 players with more gbs and even video. But if you're into iPods you might want to wait a bit because there is the iPhone that is coming out.

definatly the Zen, my friend has one and he totally worships it, he's in love with it, and honestly i am too, if he wouldn't have a death grip on it 24/7 i'd probably steal it ;)_orange

^^the iphone is coming out in the summer in 'US' its gonna take another few months? for it to get to canada. also its expensive plus i already hav a cell phone so...yea. but is the zen easy to use? i mean the sansa 'wheel' can spin. how d'u use to zen? its onli a button in the middle?

Ive never tried them, but I would just go with the one that is cheaper if you cant decide, or the one with more space.

I have the Zen, and it rocks! It's really small, and the sound is awesome. By the way, you can record on this, look at pictures or videos. The only bad thing about it is that it comes with a fugly pouchette to protect your mp3. It's too big, and you have to buy silicone skins online if you want to correctly protect it.

The iPhone is supposed to cost $400 USD when it comes out... which means it'll cost something like $600CAD (with taxes and all). Not only that, but it only goes up to something like 4GB. Not worth the price, if you ask me.

The 30GB iPod has more than enough features (a few million users can't go wrong).. and has enough space.

I've heard the sandisk one is a bit slow on load times... but I might be thinking of another model of theirs.

Shouldn't this topic be in the Gadgets forum?

My friend doesn't have the Zen but she has a slightly older Creative MP3 and she's been really happy with it.

But personally, I have to admit I love my oldschool non-click-wheel iPod.

I HAVE THE SANDISK. It's 4gb. I LOVE IT!

I got it at Costco and it came with a case for it too, so bonus. It's great.

It's bright, the battery lasts long and can be easily charged, the music's easy to add, it's quick to figre out how to use, the buttons are a little tricky to press at first but once you get used to it it's ok. It's relatively small and light too, which I love. A heck of a lot lighter than an ipod. I like having the radio too and the voice recorder. Also the video feature is awesome!! I put a lot of movies of my friends and I from my camera on it and once I put Pirates of the Caribbean. The only issue is that it splits the movie into 15 minute frames, but I don't mind cause it's easier to fast forward through and good for if you just want to watch one specific part. You can't fit a lot of movies on, but oh well, that's what portable dvd players are for.
