Downloading

So I was wondering is Limewire ( and other programs like Kazaa, UTorrent etc.) is legal? The govornment just passed all this new legistation and laws about downloading and music and it got me thinking that I really don't know anything about downloading and stuff.

I suppose the police are after me, then. LOL. I download way, way too much. I buy CDs too, don't get me wrong...

but I download music way too much.

Haha, I hope it's not illegal too because I download a lot from Limewire too.

But I think I read somewhere that it's not as bad if you download it than if you're the person sharing the file for everyone to download.
